Lithopol RM filler is used for solid surface casting applications, thoroughly wet out with a solid surface (polyester or acrylic) resin. The filler to resin ratio is approximately 60:40. This formula can be adjusted depending on the viscosity of the resin so that the mixture to have sufficient flowing characteristics. The solid surface casting procedure is a non gel-coat one.

Lithopol granules of the coarser size (grades 3000, 6000 and 8000) can also be added at a percentage of 5%-15%  of the Lithopol RM filler to enhance the granite appearance of the finished product. Sparkling decorative granules can also be added for decorative purposes. Lithopol Comet solid surface casting granite fillers should be casted  after the mixing with a solid surface resin into an open top mold for the production of final items such as tops, tables etc.
