Lithopol BL and Lithopol WR sprayable granules can be mixed with gel coat (sanitary or swimming pool type) at a ratio 30% to 70% respectively.  For best covering results the ratio of Lithopol granules can be increased up to 40% depending on the viscosity of the resin.

The steps of this application are the following:

• Spray a layer of a clear gel coat onto a properly polished with wax mold.
• As soon as the first layer starts curing, spray the mix of gel coat with Lithopol BL or Lithopol WR granules until the complete coverage of the surface of the mold.Use a spray gun with a nozzle size of 5 - 6 mm at a distance from the mold
  25 – 35 cm under air pressure of 4 bar approx.  A moisture trap is recommended for the air. During the spraying procedure keep the mix of the granules with the gel coat homogenized by shaking the pot in order to avoid settling of the granules in the matrix.
  
  
• For kitchen sinks and sanitary: As soon as the second layer starts curing, a mix of calcium carbonate or dolomite with a marble resin is casted as a back pour material.
  
  For fiber glass swimming pools (FGSP): In swimming pool manufacturing fiber glass with resin and (or) HGS hollow glass spheres is applied as a back pour material.
  

  If  necessary, in order to avoid any gaps in the coverage of the surface, use before the above mentioned step, either a matching pigment  in the back pour material or spray a layer of pigmented gel coat behind the Lithopol granules layer.
